Enjoy a three course dinner at the Seaport's outdoor tavern, Spouter's. Then watch the Seaport's TaleMakers perform Eugene O'Neill's Ile aboard the L.A. Dunton.

O'Neill's harrowing one-act play features the story of the unforgiving captain of an Arctic whaler, his gentle wife and the obsession that threatens all they hold dear.

Tickets $45 and include dinner.

features major works by the most notable members of the Lyme Art
Colony, including Hassam, Chadwick, DuMond, Greacen, Hoffman,

Restoring An Icon - The Charles W. Morgan

 

 

Explore the preservation of the world’s last wooden whaleship in our newest exhibit, "Restoring an Icon: The Charles W. Morgan." Learn all about the tools, timber and skills that are part of the unprecedented restoration of this American icon. And while the Morgan may be a product of the 19th century, Mystic Seaport is up-to-the-minute, providing an interactive cell phone audio tour to guide you through the exhibition.

Mystic Seaport

Come aboard for a delightful steamboat cruise down the Mystic River with foottapping Dixieland music, plenty of delicious hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Dance to the tunes of the Mystic River Mud Band as they play old favorites, or sit on the old benches and enjoy the live music and camaraderie of an evening on the water. Sabino leaves from her dock near the main entrance to Mystic Seaport.

Beluga Contact Program- Mystic Seaport Aquarium

Reservations are required

Each Beluga Contact Program begins with a 20-minute orientation. Next you will spend approximately 20 minutes wading in the water with an experienced trainer and the whales. With the animal right beside you, you'll hear it breathe, spout and vocalize. You will see, first hand, how these amazing mammals are trained.

Penguin Contact Program - Mystic Aquarium

Reservations are required

During this hour-long intimate encounter, you will get to see exactly what the penguin experts see. The penguins will walk freely among your group, you'll be able to touch the penguins and learn all about the history of the species and about conservation issues affecting these intriguing animals.
